Child support calculator
How much child support does the paying parent owe each month?
Enter the paying parent's gross income and how many children there are, and it returns the monthly amount from the Federal Child Support Tables for Ontario, along with the income band and the arithmetic behind it. Add the other parent's income and it will also work out a shared-parenting set-off and split the add-on expenses in proportion to what each parent earns.
- For example
- Two children and an income of $90,000 gives $1,372 a month.
- Built on
- SOR/97-175, Schedule I (Ontario), in force October 1, 2025
- What it will not tell you
- How income gets determined in the first place, which decides more cases than the table does.
