Calculators built on the published tables themselves, checklists you can print and write on, and the court links we keep current because we use them ourselves. All free, none of it gated behind an email address.
Work out the number yourself.
Each one reproduces the instrument it comes from rather than a rule of thumb: the interest rates the Ministry publishes each quarter, the Federal Child Support Tables, the notice periods in the Mortgages Act, and the payment formula the Interest Act requires. Every one shows its arithmetic and names its source, so you can check the answer instead of trusting it. The corporate deadline calculator is under business owners, below.
- Child supportThe monthly table amount for Ontario, plus a shared-parenting set-off and the split on add-on expenses.
- Court interestWhat interest is worth on money you are owed, and on a judgment that is going unpaid.
- Power of saleYour first missed mortgage payment turned into the arrears and the Mortgages Act dates that follow it.
- Mortgage renewalThe payment before and after a new rate, compounded the way every Canadian mortgage is.
Print them. Write on them.
For the moments where the problem is not knowing the law, it is knowing what to gather and in what order. Read any of them in the browser or take the PDF, and bring it to whichever lawyer you end up hiring.
- What to bring to your first consultationWhat should I bring so the first meeting with a lawyer is not wasted?
- Separation checklistMy relationship has ended. What do I need to do in the first few weeks?
- Spousal sponsorship documentsWhat does IRCC want to see when I sponsor my spouse or partner?
- Starting a business in OntarioWhat do I actually have to file, register, and pay to start a business in Ontario?
- Corporate compliance calendarWhat does my corporation owe every year to stay in good standing?
Virtual court links.
Zoom coordinates for the Ontario courtrooms we appear in, kept current because we rely on them ourselves. Courts change these without notice, so the page records when each one was last checked rather than pretending it is authoritative.

For owners running or starting an Ontario corporation: the filing dates a year end sets off, the government sites a new business deals with, and a checklist to work through. The government sites are ones we do not run, so each page says when we last checked it.
- Corporate deadlinesA fiscal year end turned into every filing date the corporation owes, laid out as a timeline.
- Starting a businessThe registries, tax accounts, employment rules, permit finder and trademark office a new Ontario business deals with, grouped by task.
- Startup checklistThe free printable checklist for starting a business in Ontario, in the order the steps come up.
